bbq - 17th Jan.
Finally settled on a date
*hands up* I was the Last to arrive. By the time i got there, they were allll gathered around the pit, trying to Light up the charcoals~!
- It Took A Really Long Time-
none of us are bbq experts. some had been to bbqs recently but lighting up the pit Never Posed a problem. Until Now. My last bbq was more than 10years ago at my place.

We managed eventually, after more than 2hrs -can u imagine tat? xD
We ended up burning a lot of newspapers and wasting quite a lot of the fire ingiter thingie..
trick was to use candle wax, so that the fire will stick to the charcoal n BURN IT. There's another method, sth with the stove but that was out of the option for us. the FAN, was also a really useful device.
Commencing the grilling/barbecuing
Everyone enjoyed this. Flipping wings, lambs, sausages, sticking marshmallows and Eating.
Splashing water, scrambling for more water, wetting wings, rescuing wings from Fire with a Squeak, was the official duty of our very own honourable fire-fighter - twt.
We only have two tongs/kiap so everyone took turns using it. -I forgot to bring mine X=
Some people, mostly the girls went overly obbessive with Applying the butter and Honey. Seriously. Initially, it was somewhat okay, because a fire will suddenly shoot up and along with some splash of water, the meat will get wet? hence so-called >butter and honey removed.. -dots
BUt, all the charcoal were soon burning red and twt retired from her duty to something else More interesting. Like.. Applying butter/honey~! ="" Initially it was cally & later a few people took turns doing it. . DOing it over the same meat. ="""Well a layer or two is fine~ but they did it layer after layer, from when the meat Touch the grill, till it's cooked and Removed. @#
As a result, they're Really oily.
But i seem to be the only one to notice it and be bothered by it. lol. ahwell. gk mentioned it too after tbe clean-up, where we put the wings into d microwave. Lambs finished up really fast.
But yea, What mattered was having a good time right~? xP
Up to the middle of the cookout around 8.40pm, i had to run off somewhere, but returned soon enough to Eat. (Time: 9sth) yes, i havent eaten yet.. being part of the flipping crew and all.. xDD
hmm.. i was also dissaproving with another matter.. but let's just put that aside, shall we? 8DD
Another thing to note: when we were getting the charcoal burning, allllll the smoke went to the next door neighbour. No way to prevent that due to the wind direction. but yea, the -feel bad- was felt by all.
So when everyone was quite stuffed, most retired to the chairs, leaving a few to tend to the few wings left. The fire was also running low and turning out soon. Before long, only these two were left to care.

At that point, butter and honey was still being applied. @# but dismissed quite soon as well. *puff
Meanwhile, the others were busy with..
Rabbits. You got that right~ They are Gk's. he currently has 11 of them. If u're interested, let me know and i'l notify you when there's another mass reproduction of them.
After some rest, cleaning ensued for it's getting late. So some were cleaning, washing, clearing, some mingled, rabbiting still and some left.
And that wraps up the night~
hmm, just realised, there werent any shots of myself for tat night. ahahaha x.x
